Full ingredients list:
1¹/³ cups rolled oats
2 cups reduced-fat milk
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
½ teaspoon ground turmeric
2 teaspoons grated fresh ginger
2 medium bananas, thickly sliced
1 tablespoon honey
²/³ cup reduced-fat plain yoghurt
2 tablespoons chopped pecan nuts, to serve

Instructions and steps:
1 Combine the rolled oats, milk, cinnamon, turmeric, ginger and 1 cup of water in a large saucepan. Place over a medium heat and bring to a simmer. Reduce heat and cook, stirring occasionally, for 5–6 minutes, or until oats are softened, thick and creamy.
2 Divide porridge between four serving bowls. Top with banana slices, honey and a dollop of yoghurt. Sprinkle porridge with pecans and serve.
