Full ingredients list:
- cooking oil spray
- 2 Granny Smith or Golden Delicious apples, cored, halved horizontally
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 2 tablespoons almond meal
- 1 1/2 tablespoons (20g) hazelnuts, chopped
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon orange juice
- 1/2 lemon, zested
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup

Instructions and steps:
Step 1 Preheat oven to 180°C. Spray a baking dish with oil. Place apples in dish and add 2 tablespoons water. Cover with foil and bake for 10 minutes.
Step 2 Meanwhile, make crumble topping: place oats, almond meal, hazelnuts and cinnamon into a bowl and stir to combine. Add orange juice, lemon zest and half the syrup. Mix well.
Step 3 Remove apples from oven. Pile a quarter of the crumble onto each apple, pushing it down into the centre. Drizzle remaining syrup over crumble. Re-cover apples and bake for 10 minutes. Remove foil and cook for a further 10 minutes. Serve warm.
