Step 1 Preheat oven to 180°C. Place potatoes into a baking dish and spray with oil. Roast for about 30 minutes, turning potatoes often.
Step 2 Meanwhile, in a shallow bowl, place 1 crushed garlic clove, olive oil and fresh ground black pepper. Brush onto steaks and marinate for 30 minutes. Grill or barbecue meat 3–4 minutes each side for medium, or until cooked to your liking. Remove from heat, cover and rest for 5 minutes.
Step 3 Spray a large frying pan or wok with oil and place over medium-high heat. Add onion and cook for 2–3 minutes. Add remaining garlic and stir until fragrant. Add vegetables and cook, stirring for 1 minute. Add stock and bring to the boil. Cook for 2 minutes, then reduce heat to medium. Add soy sauce, sweet chilli sauce and pepper to taste.
Step 4 When vegetables are cooked (about 3–4 minutes), stir in cornflour mixture and cook for 1 minute more.
Step 5 Serve roasted potatoes with sautéed vegetables and steaks.
