- 3 apples, peeled, diced
- 4 sheets filo pastry, thawed
- 2 tablespoons Nutella, warmed
- 1 teaspoon icing sugar

Instructions and steps:
Step 1 Preheat oven to 180°C. Place apples into a saucepan of boiling water and simmer for 5–8 minutes, until tender. Drain.
Step 2 Place one pastry sheet on a flat surface and lightly spray with oil. Top with another sheet and spray with oil. Repeat with remaining pastry sheets. Fold pile in half to form a rectangle.
Step 3 Spread Nutella over pastry, leaving a 6cm border around the edges. Top with apple. Fold in long sides of pastry. Starting at short end, roll into a log shape. Place on a baking tray and lightly spray with oil. Bake for 25 minutes, until golden and crisp. Dust with icing sugar and slice before serving.
To save time, use 1 cup canned pie apple.
