Don’t miss the new Healthy Food Guide TV series - starting tonight!
We are excited to announce that the HFG New Zealand team have been working hard on a TV series and it will be airing tonight on SBS Food Network at 7:30pm.
The new Healthy Food Guide TV series gives you the tools to make your life better – no matter what your health of family situation! Over five weeks, each 30-minute, back-to-back episode will bust myths, navigate nutrition jargon and break down the science to deliver you sound advice to improve your health and make informed choices.
Using the food we eat and how we eat it as the focus, the series takes a holistic approach to our overall health and wellbeing. Each episode also covers a health topic, such as: fatigue, fat, hormones, sugar, work-life balance, diabetes and gluten.
Healthy Food Guide nutritionist, Claire Turnbull, works with the Parkinson family throughout the series to overhaul their eating and exercise habits. But, unlike the usual reality weight-loss show, there’s no dieting or scales or unachievable weight loss. Instead the focus is on changing their habits, behaviours and eating patterns so they get and stay healthy for life.
And of course, there’s plenty of healthy recipes being whipped up by chef Sam Campbell – one of the Healthy Food Guide recipe writers.
