2 eggscraft supplies (stick-on eyes, glitter, textas, etc)potting soil/compostgrass or watercress seeds
Step 1 Carefully crack eggs near the top of the egg. Discard whites and yolks, and rinse shell.
Step 2 Decorate eggshell using stick-on eyes, glitter glue, textas, etc. Shells will be fragile, so younger children may need help (have extra eggs on hand in case shells crack).
Step 3 Spoon soil or compost into eggshells, until about 3/4 full. Water soil, then top with 1–2 teaspoons seeds. Gently press seeds down into soil. Place egg heads into egg cups so they stay upright.
Step 4 Set egg heads in a warm, sunny spot and water regularly to keep soil damp. Seeds should sprout in about 10 days.
