Update to HFG’s low-kJ stamp criteria
You may have noticed we’ve updated our criteria for main meals that qualify for a low-kJ stamp. We have increased the kilojoule amount for main meals from 1600kJ to 1700kJ, in order to make it easier to adhere to a 6300kJ diet (which is considered appropriate for a low-kJ diet). In general, this breaks down to three main meals of 1700kJ each, and 2–3 snacks totalling 1200kJ (2 x 600kJ or 3 x 400kJ) each day.
