- 1 cup dried apricots, chopped
- 1 cup dried pitted prunes, chopped
- 1 cup dried sultanas
- 2 teaspoons vanilla paste
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
- 2 cinnamon quills

Instructions and steps:
Step 1 Combine all ingredients in a large saucepan. Bring to a simmer, then reduce heat and cook gently until fruit becomes plump and absorbs liquid.
Step 2 Transfer mixture into a jar or large container and allow to cool. Store in the refrigerator, uncovered, before using.
