Step 1 In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder and oat bran together. Set aside. In a separate bowl, mix together yoghurt, banana, olive oil, vanilla and 150ml of water. Pour into flour mixture and mix until just combined.

Step 2 In a bowl, beat egg whites for 3 minutes, or until firm peaks form. Stir one-third of the egg whites through pancake batter. Fold in remaining egg whites.

Step 3 Heat a large, non-stick frying pan over a medium heat. Spoon 1/4 cup batter into pan and cook for 2 minutes. Flip and cook for a further 1 1/2 minutes, or until golden on both sides. Repeat with remaining batter. Serve with sliced banana, cinnamon and honey.
