Spaghetti bolognese
Simmering the mince will tenderise it and concentrate the flavours of the sauce. Keep it bubbling away for longer if you have time.
Instructions
Spray a large non-stick pan with oil. Add the onion and garlic and cook for 1 minute. Add the mince and brown, breaking up any lumps.
Add the crushed tomatoes, pasta sauce and herbs. Bring to the boil, then reduce heat and simmer for approximately 20 minutes.
While the sauce is simmering, cook the spaghetti in a large saucepan of boiling water, drain and serve topped with pasta sauce.
