Savoury mince and vegetable dinner

For advanced beginners: 6–7 months.

Instructions

Step 1 Put mince into a saucepan with water. Add carrots and potatoes and cook gently for 30 minutes.

Step 2 Purée to a smooth consistency using a food blender.

Step 3 Freeze in ice cube trays, use as required.

Variation

Cook green vegetables such as broccoli, cauliflower, courgette until soft. Add 1 tablespoon to the savoury mince just before processing in blender.
