Older people who drink tea more often have better mental function than those who drink less tea, according to researchers in Singapore.

The researchers also found a lower risk of decline in mental function over time with greater tea consumption. The main teas consumed by the Chinese adults they surveyed were black tea and oolong tea. And while most people in the study also drank coffee, there was no association between their mental capacity and their coffee drinking.
