Skipping meals a no-no
Dieting by eating just one meal a day is bad for your health, say researchers from the Agricultural Research Service in Baltimore.
While eating one large meal a day is feasible for a short time from an energy perspective, it’s not so good for your general health. Compared to people who eat three meals a day, people who eat only one meal a day have higher total cholesterol, LDL ‘bad’ cholesterol, blood pressure and blood sugar levels, despite losing more fat mass and body weight.
This study further confirms skipping meals is a no-no.
