Walnuts and flaxseeds good for bones?

Getting omega-3 from walnuts and flaxseed oil may be beneficial for your bones, as well as your heart.

A small trial in the USA has found that a diet including plant sources of alpha-linolenic acid (ALA) could have a protective effect on bone metabolism.

The benefits seemed to derive from the ratio between omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids.

Further research is needed to clarify these findings.
