Do you know your 4Cs and the 20+20 rule?
Foodborne illness caused by poor food handling practices in our homes is still a major health issue, according to Sandra Daly of the Foodsafe Partnership.
She suggests we remember two key messages.
The 20+20 hand wash rule is: 20 seconds washing + 20 seconds drying = clean hands.
The 4Cs are: clean, cook, cover and chill.
